I always loved the books. The best hing about the first film for me is that it augments and doesn't spoil the story as I read it. It looks like the second will be the same; not particularly ground-breaking, not the biggest special effects movie out but still a good retelling of the tale. I'll watch it and I expect to enjoy it for CS Lewis's story. Posted on Dec 10 2007 15:44

The first film was remarkable for the americanisation of dialogue and the emphasis on the violent elements of the story. Doesn't look like we won't get more ofthe same Posted on Dec 10 2007 09:19

Our last Narnia film was almost beyond the limits of dull boringness!!Nobody thought that beavers could look so much like finger puppets made out of used tooth picks in such a modern film !! Posted on Dec 09 2007 10:54

Yet again another bland looking film about Narina. Did Disney or Walden consult the BBC before making these films, cos their televised version was superior in many ways to the first film Posted on Dec 08 2007 16:51
