Volupte's Third Birthday
Volupte celebrated its third birthday [last night] with an evening of burlesque and cabaret, brought to you by the number three.
Alternative Miss World 2009 Fancy Chance showed us her winning ways; Siren Stiletto busted out the diamonds in a Monroe-inspired act; and Amber Topaz dazzled with feathers and fairy-lights.
Cockney showgirl Ivy Paige tickled our fancy with a song or three, her second-hand furniture tune – if you don’t want it, I’ll just sit on it – the perfect saucy chic anthem for Volupte.
To the three boys: host Christian Lee did card tricks while swigging a glass of red for 'magicianal purposes', bear-lesque act Fred Bear showed off his man-curves and it was a hard day's knight with Spencer Maybe.
After the show, friends, family and assorted deviants partied with performers into the night; a thoroughly enjoyable evening all told. Three cheers for Volupte!
