'New Moon': trailer preview
Robert Pattinson returns as a friendly vampire in this sequel to 'Twilight'. We preview the new trailer
OK, young ladies, start swooning: the sequel to 'Twilight', the wildly popular emo vampire film based on Stephenie Meyer’s fantasy novels, has a trailer.
‘Twilight 2’ – or ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’, to give it its full title – sees the return of London-born heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who again tries to suppress his innate urge to bite the face of his girlfriend Bella (Kristen Stewart).
When Pattinson then breaks off the relationship, Bella then starts to get close to Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black, who, naturally, turns out to be a werewolf. He does his best to fend off the murderous advances of numerous vampires, but meanwhile, news gets to Pattinson's Edward that Bella has killed herself, so he flees to Italy to try and have himself killed by a band of ultimate vampires: the Volturi.
The trailer for ‘New Moon’ looks like it was shot and edited entirely with a slumber party of 'Grazia'-reading fifth formers in mind. Just count the number of chiselled male pin-ups, many of them topless or in dapper suits. This time, the director of the original film, Catherine Hardwicke (‘Thirteen’), has been replaced by ‘The Golden Compass’ director Chris Weitz, and though 'New Moon' has been pencilled in for a November release in the US, nothing has been confirmed yet for the UK.
Another sequel, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, has already been green lit and will start shooting soon. At the helm will be David Slade, who directed ‘Hard Candy'.

"...and this time he and Stewart travel to Italy, and they also have to deal with some hunky werewolves. But, worse than that, Pattinson has a rival for Stewart's affections: Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black. "
Have the author of this article read book "New Moon". This all is wrong, they did not travel to Italy together, they did not deal with warevolfs... If you don't know anything than don't write at all, stupid! Posted on Jun 04 2009 07:20 - Report as inappropriate
