Indiana Jones marrying Paul Bettany
The TOMB attends a very strange 'Firewall' press conference in Barcelona.
Mar 22 2005
Sorry for the dearth of up-to-date news emerging from The TOMB these past two days, but your dedicated online editor was in Barcelona interviewing Harrison Ford, Paul Bettany and director Richard Loncraine for their new film, 'Firewall'.
The Q&As will go up on the site next week, but it's also probably worth mentioning that I attended quite the strangest press conference imaginable during the trip.
Conducted in Spanish, with 'the talent' answering in English, their was confusion from start to finish, with local journalists bizarrely questioning 'Firewall's Oscar chances, Ford claiming that acting informs his carpentry and that 'Indiana Jones 4' is already finished, and one strange fellow giving the actors a silver tray laden with cash, a Sony Playstation and a pair of furry hand-cuffs.
Just when The TOMB thought it couldn't get any more inexplicable, Bettany announced his engagement to Ford, kissed him on the cheek and the pair walked off the stage handcuffed to each other.
All very strange. Anyways, I'm back in the office now, so normal service will resume.
