Jamie Bell hits the Edinburgh rooftops

'Billy Elliot' himself will play a grieving son in the magical new Scottish film 'Hallam Foe'.

Mar 28 2006

Jamie Bell started work on the magical new Brit flick 'Hallam Foe' in Scotland this week.

The 'Dear Wendy' star plays the title character, a youngster who is distraught by the sudden death of his mother. Suspecting his step-mum might have had a hand in the death, he escapes to Edinburgh, where he falls in love with a beautiful woman who just happens to look like his mother.

A story of love, loss and life on the Edinburgh rooftops, 'Hallam Foe' also stars Sophia Myles, Claire Forlani and Ciarán Hinds, and is directed by David Mackenzie ('Asylum', 'Young Adam').
