Walken has 'Balls of Fury'
Christopher Walken has signed up to star in a ping pong flick.
Mar 28 2006
Thanks to his bizarre performances, outlandish career choices and massive hair, we always thought Christopher Walken had balls of steel.
Now however, it appears that Walken has 'Balls of Fury', for that is the name of a table tennis film the great one currently has in the pipeline.
The brilliantly monikered flick casts Walken as Fang, a mob boss who enjoys playing ping pong in his spare time.
Tony-winner Dan Fogler will star as a disgraced player enlisted by the CIA to play Fang in a tournament while Thomas Lennon (who also co-wrote the script) will appear as Fogler's dastardly East German nemesis.
Robert Ben Garant will direct 'Balls of Fury', which is due to start shooting in June.
And if you can't wait until then, Walken can be seen singing and dancing his way through 'Romance & Cigarettes' in cinemas right now.
