Anti-Christ Alert!

The TOMB presents an exclusive internet teaser for 'The Omen 666'.

Apr 13 2006

'Has the time of the Anti-Christ come?' So asks the internet teaser for 'The Omen 666', Fox's forthcoming remake of the 1976 classic.

Directed by John Moore ('Behind Enemy Lines', 'Flight of the Phoenix'), the film is a supernatural psycho thriller about Satan's return to earth in the shape of a young boy.

And the atmospheric teaser is a belter, featuring a dead pope, freaky spirits, natural disasters, rabid dogs and a very angry monkey.

To see what horrors Moore has in store for us this summer, click here: The signs are all around…could the Anti-Christ be coming? You decide! Witness this 66 6econd exclusive look.

'The Omen 666' will be in cinemas on on 6/6/06.

Not sure if a remake is necessary given the timelessness of original.. would hate to see it tarnished by the clumsy hands of modern hollywood director.. Posted on Apr 15 2006 02:05

Certainly looks spooky, bit in the vein of Dominion: A Prequel to the Exorcist, flashing images...some look quite dark and a couple of flashes of a disfigured creature?
I actually thought this might turn out to be rubbish, but you know what, it looks like it might have a fighting chance.
I'm still struck with the belief that the original trilogy was superb. Posted on Apr 13 2006 12:48
