Cruise baby born
Suri's birth wrecks the publicity plans for 'Mission: Impossible III', plus a review hits the net.
Apr 19 2006
Publicity-shy couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have had a baby girl, and the birth has thrown the publicity plans for forthcoming summer pic 'Mission: Impossible III' into chaos.
Holmes gave birth to daughter Suri yesterday, and Cruise immediately cancelled an LA press junket today.
The star was expected to appear at premieres in Rome, Paris, Mexico and London over the next few weeks, but a Cruise spokesman said that decisions regarding his attendance will now be made on a day-to-day basis.
Both mother and seven pound, seven ounce baby Suri are doing well however, so expect Cruise to be back to desperately bouncing on talkshow sofas in the near future.
