Win tickets to a preview of 'Brick'

We've got 200 tickets to give away for a very special Time Out screening of this fine modern-day film noir.

Apr 20 2006

The brilliant 'Brick' is bound to be one of the most talked about films of the year (click here for my mini-review), and we're giving you the chance to see the film early at a special Time Out preview screening.

The film follows the path of the hard-boiled mystery noir but wittily immerses it in a modern-day California high-school setting.

The story revolves around Brendan, an aloof character who is an outsider until the day his ex-girlfriend vanishes.

Brendan then becomes consumed with finding her and is thrust headlong into a world of rich-girl femme fatales, jocks, geeks and stoners. But only by being accepted into the inner circle of the local drug dealer will he be able to uncover the truth.

'Brick' opens on May 12, but thanks to Optimum Releasing we have 200 tickets for a preview on Tuesday May 9 at 6.30pm at Cineworld Haymarket.

Simply send a first-class stamped, addressed envelope, marked 'Brick', to Time Out Online, 251 Tottenham, Court Road. London, W1T 7AB by May 3. The first 100 picked at random will each receive a pair of tickets.
