'Pirates' trailer finally arrives online

After some technical hitches, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' trailer is available online.

Following a few technical hitches yesterday, the trailer for 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' has finally arrived online, and it's a marked improvement on the previous 'Pirates' teaser.

Walt Disney Pictures partnered with online phenomenon MySpace for a promotional contest whereby the winner would be the first to view the trailer and then personally distribute it through their own  page.

Yet in spite of the fact that I signed up to MySpace and found the winner after a brief search, I couldn't for the life of me get it to load.

Today however, the link has started to work, and I'm pleased to say it was worth the wait.

It's clear that no expense has been spared on the sequel, as the trailer is full of spectacular sets, mammoth monsters and sensational action sequences.

If I'm honest (and I know I'll get battered for saying this) Johnny Depp's hammy overacting spoilt the first 'Pirates' film for me, but with Bill Nighy's performance as the devilish Davy Jones appearing to be worth the price of admission alone this time around, it looks like this one is shaping up rather nicely.
