Bond cameos in 'Fateless'
We've got an exclusive clip of Daniel Craig's brief appearance in the brilliant WWII film 'Fateless'.
May 4 2006
Earlier this week I caught a screening of 'Fateless', and I can honestly say it's one of the most powerful and thought-provoking features I've seen this year.
Based on Imre Kertész's Nobel Prize-winning, semi-autobiographical novel, the film follows the plight of Gyuri Köves, a 14-year-old Jewish Hungarian who is arrested and sent to a concentration camp where he spends the final few months of the war.
The young boy, brilliantly played by Marcell Nagy, suffers unspeakable horrors at the hands of his captors, but first-time director Lajos Koltai handles the story with intelligence and sensitivity, and the result is a film that I urge you to see when it hits screens tomorrow.
And for a taste of it now, we've got an exclusive clip from the film featuring a cameo from Bond himself, Daniel Craig. To download it, simply click here.
