Sonnenfeld enters 'Andrew Henry's Meadow'

Barry Sonnenfeld will direct Adam Braff's adaptation of the popular children's book.

May  5 2006

Barry Sonnenfeld is set to direct the big screen adaptation of Doris Burn's classic children's book, 'Andrew Henry's Meadow'.

Zach Braff ('Garden State') recently developed the project with his brother Adam, and the film will be based on Adam's script, with Zach acting as executive producer.

The book, which was first published in 1965, revolves around a young inventor who builds an idyllic utopia in a meadow near his house.

Sonnenfeld is currently riding high at the top of the US charts with his latest comedy, 'R.V.'.
