'Ghost Rider' blazes online

See the trailer for Hollywood's latest superhero feature.

May 24 2006

The first full trailer for 'Ghost Rider' has hit the net, and while some of the visual effects are a bit shaky at this early stage in production, it nevertheless seems to be shaping up quite nicely.

In the film, Nicolas Cage plays motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze, who makes a deal with the devil that turns him into 'Ghost Rider', a flaming skeleton who spends night after night delivering violent retribution to the guilty.

The film co-stars Eva Mendes, Wes Bentley, Sam Elliott and Peter Fonda, though the main reason we are excited is that IMDB lists Angry Anderson as one of the stars. Yes, that's the Angry Anderson, the chubby, tattooed rock and roller who sang a touching ballad 'Suddenly' at Scott and Charlene's wedding way back in the day.

No idea who 'Angry' plays yet, but if they let the big softie sing over the end credits, this one has the potential for greatness.

'Ghost Rider' hits UK screens next March, but to see the avenging fireball now, head to our Top Ten Trailers and follow the link.
