'Kill Bill' and 'Ferris Bueller' live!
See two cult classics in the open air at the Studio Artrois outdoor film festival.
Jun 30 2006
Want to see two cult film favourites of the last 20 years at the UK's first ever outdoor film festival? Well look no further than Studio Artois Live, two themed days of movie and music madness taking place in Greenwich Park next month.
First up, on Saturday 22 July, there will be a special screening of kick ass kung fu flick 'Kill Bill Vol. 1' followed by a Tarantino-inspired music set from DJ Yoda.
Then, on Sunday 23 July, the Studio Artois team will be screening the really rather bloody brilliant teen comedy 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' followed by a Ferris-inspired '80s set from the Guilty Pleasures DJs.
Both days will also feature the National Symphony Orchestra playing cult film soundtracks, a programme of short films, the world's biggest film quiz, breakdancers, aerobics dancers, ninjas and the like roaming the site and much, much more besides.
I attended the last event of this kind and it was an absolute blast, so miss this one at your peril! Tickets are £13.50 (plus booking fee) for each day and available now from www.studio-artois.co.uk.
