'Straightheads' heads up

Straight talking from the set of the new Gillian Anderson/Danny Dyer pic 'Straightheads'.

Jul  3 2006

Ever on the look out for new and exciting film projects, we at The TOMB feel duty-bound to bring you news of the 'Straightheads' blog – a fantastic film site about one of my most eagerly anticipated releases of 2007.

Written and directed by first-timer Dan Reed, it's a dark, intense and disturbing thriller that stars Gillian Anderson and Danny Dyer.

I visited the set last year and that piece will be published nearer the time of the film's release, but if you want to find out more about the project now, head to the site here.

Reed offers a fascinating insight into the making of the movie, describing the process of casting, shooting and post production, and discusses his hopes and fears for getting the feature out there and into cinemas in early 2007.

I found it sickening to watch certain bits, its disgusting, cannot stop thinking about things... its not like a scary movie, this could happen to anyone, and it does (the rape) Posted on May 03 2007 20:57

This movie looks so interesting and Gillian is my favorite actress right now.
To go from Bleak House to this takes a lot of talent.
Danny is so cool too. Posted on Jul 03 2006 19:23
