'Hostel 2' exclusive

Writer-director Eli Roth tells The TOMB all about his horror sequel.

Jul 10 2006

My 'Hostel' set visit is easily the most clicked on story we've ever had here at The TOMB, and with a sequel currently in the works, I thought it was about time we got in touch with main man Eli Roth to find out what was going down.

Ever the helpful soul, Eli emailed straight back to reveal that the official title of the film will be 'Hostel: Part II' and, as previously reported, the story will pick up from the moment part one ended.

'It will have three girls who are studying in Italy and get lured to Slovakia,' he exclusively told The TOMB. 'We have new characters and lots of new twists and turns. It will be much darker. Unlike the first one, 'Hostel: Part II' will NOT be a family film. I'm going to make something that's really more for an adult audience that isn't just to keep young kids from doing their homework after school.'

Roth also revealed that the film will feature a rendition of 'Get Your Tits Out for the Lads' sung by authentic English football hooligans that may even end up on the soundtrack!

As our exclusive picture shows, the twisted writer-director is currently scouting locations in Prague (head to his hilarious MySpace blog here for more details), with production set to start in September. More on this one as and when we hear from Eli 'future of horror' Roth.

I loved the first Hostel, I went to see it opening weekend and that was one of the scariest movies I have ever seen, but when the second Hostel comes out, I hope this one is more horror than nudity. Posted on Oct 31 2006 17:56
