Bonham Carter bags Harry Potter role

Helena Boham Carter will play Bellatrix Lestrange in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.

As one of the few British thesps yet to be cast in a 'Harry Potter' film, Helena Bonham Carter must be starting to wonder what she's doing wrong. Well the aristocratic actress need worry no longer as she's just landed a role in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.

Bonham Carter will play Bellatrix Lestrange, Sirius Black's cousin who also just happens to be a Death Eater.

The actress joins fellow franchise newcomers George Harris (Kingsley Shacklebot), Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks), Kathryn Hunter (Arabella Figg) and Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge) in the flick, which will be directed by David Yates.

'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' will be released on July 13, 2007.
