'Peep Show' pair perform magic

David Mitchell and Robert Webb are set to star in the new British comedy, 'Magicians'.

'Peep Show' is the best British sitcom of the last couple of years, so Time Out is overjoyed at the news that the programme's director, writers and stars are set to collaborate on a forthcoming feature.

Much like the forthcoming Christopher Nolan pic 'The Prestige', 'Magicians' will revolve around a pair of magic men who fall out and become rivals, although with Andrew O'Connor on directing duties and Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain writing, expect the emphasis to be on the funny in the Brit flick.

'Peep Show' stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb will play the warring duo, while Juliet Stevenson and Peter Capaldi lend able support.

'Magicians' will shoot on location in Surrey, London, Nottingham and Skegness from August 20.
