'South Park' duo attack Japan
Trey Parker and Matt Stone will direct 'My All-American' and 'Giant Monsters Attack Japan!' for Paramount.
Aug 22 2006
'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are about to start work on two new films for Paramount.
First up will be high school comedy 'My All-American', which the pair are set to shoot in 2007 during their 'South Park' hiatus.
'Giant Monsters Attack Japan!' will then follow, a comedy action movie featuring the 'Godzilla' style 'man in rubber suit' technique that has become the trademark of so many cult Asian films.
Parker will direct both films with Stone on producing duty, though don't expect any superstar names to be filling out the cast.
'Neither of these movies feel like vehicles for big stars' Stone told Variety, 'but this will be our opportunity to find out if there are any actors left who want to work with us.'
