Boll batters his critics

Uwe Boll defeated four film critics in the boxing ring over the weekend.

Sep 26 2006

Although there was still a chance it might have been a hoax when I wrote the story last week (see Raging Boll), it seems that Uwe Boll really did fight a bunch of film critics in Vancouver over the weekend – and the proof is up on YouTube.

Unfortunately Boll, who apparently has a semi-pro background in boxing (a distinct advantage in this sort of contest), destroyed the four contenders.

Richard Kyanka fell after one round, Jeff Snyder lasted two before his corner rightly threw in the towel, Chris Alexander started well but soon wilted under the Boll barrage and 17-year-old Nelson Chance Minter never stood a chance and was destroyed by a series of good combinations early on.

The moral of this story? Continue to criticise the talentless hack all you like, just don't step into a ring with him. To see Boll raging, click here.
