Trailer 'For Your Consideration'
Christopher Guest and his 'Best in Show' ensemble return for another improvised satire.
Oct 4 2006
The funny folk behind the likes of 'Best in Show' and 'A Mighty Wind' are at it again, spoofing Hollywood in their new film, 'For Your Consideration'.
The trailer for said flick has just arrived online, and it's very much more of the same from writer/director/star Christopher Guest and his talented ensemble, with improvisation forming the bulk of what appears on screen.
Eugene Levy, Michael McKean, Catherine O'Hara, Parker Posey, Harry Shearer and Fred Willard all return to ruthlessly parody their industry, with the story revolving around a terrible production that somehow manages to stir up Oscar buzz.
The trailers rarely do justice to these films, but there are a couple of good producer and agent jokes here, and a delicious cameo from Ricky Gervais.
