London Film Festival feature
Time Out picks out the films you must see during the LFF.
Oct 13 2006
With the Times BFI 50th London Film Festival fast approaching, we've posted a feature in which we pick out the strange, the spectacular and the simply unmissable screening during the fest.
And with Richard Linklater, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Paul Verhoeven, Anthony Minghella, Lars von Trier, Christopher Guest, Nanni Moretti and Nick Broomfield all in attendance with new films, there should be no shortage of potential gems on show.
I'll personally be making a beeline for Shane Meadows' 'This is England', Kelly Reichardt's 'Old Joy', Cam Archer's 'Wild Tigers I Have Known' and Todd Field's 'Little Children'.
We've also got details of Time Out's Gala Screening and the hugely popular Time Out Platform Events that take place throughout the festival.
