'Hot Fuzz' explodes online

Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's action comedy finally has a pair of online teasers.

Oct 17 2006

The TOMB recently attended the FrightFest screening of 'Pan's Labyrinth' and who should we bump into but none other than Edgar Wright, superstar writer-director of 'Shaun of the Dead', who was babbling on about two new teaser trailers he'd just completed for the forthcoming 'Hot Fuzz'.

We begged and pleaded for a glimpse at the footage, but the hairy helmer was keeping his cards close to his chest.

Now however, said trailers have been released online, and while short, they are perfectly formed explosions of action and comedy with lashings of John Woo style, slow-mo gunplay.

'Hot Fuzz' stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Rafe Spall, Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton and a whole host of British stars. It's due to hit UK screens on February 16, but to see the teasers now, simply head to our 'Top Ten Trailers' page and click on the link.
