Snipes settles with IRS

Wesley Snipes will surrender to the federal authorities when he returns to America.

Nov  2 2006

Great news – it looks like Wesley Snipes has finally sorted out his tax troubles with the IRS, which means he'll be able to make more unmissable films with brilliant names like 'Chaos' and 'The Detonator' in the future!

According to the October 17 indictment, the 'Blade' star used the tax packages of the two men he was indicted with to unsuccessfully claim nearly $12 million in refunds for taxes he paid ten years ago.

Snipes has agreed to a payment plan that will keep him out of jail and allow him to keep working in America and to travel abroad.

The actor is expected to surrender to federal authorities when he finishes shooting horror film 'Gallowwalker' in Namibia. He will then start work on cop thriller 'Chasing the Dragon' in Thailand in January. Can't hardly wait!

The American government owes black people REPARATIONS in land and money. No black person whose gret grandparents were born in America should have to pay taxes of any sort. They should be paid about $36,000 a month tax free for life. Posted on Nov 06 2006 20:59
