'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Pulp Fiction' spin-off?
Michael Madsen adds fuel to those rumours
Nov 13 2006
The prospect of a spin-off bringing together two of Quentin Tarantino’s most notorious characters could be back on, according to actor Michael Madsen.
The Vega brothers, Vic (Madsen) and Vincent (John Travolta), appeared in 'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Pulp Fiction' respectively, and the possibilty of a film bringing the two together has been floating around for a while.
However, it seemed the plans would never make it past the ‘nice idea’ stage as it was decided Madsen and Travolta were both too old for a prequel and the fact that they were both killed off put paid to the chances of a sequel.
But Michael Madsen told Moviehole.net that the 'Kill Bill' director has struck upon an ingenious idea.
He said: “(Tarantino) gave me an idea that would be really outrageous - that John and I would be the twin brothers of Vic and Vincent. We come from Amsterdam to LA to avenge the deaths of our brothers. I think that's pretty interesting. For me, I'd love to do it."
Madsen is also set to shoot scenes for 'Sin City 2', directed by another Tarantino collaborator, Robert Rodriguez.

- Tarantino is the best! He made Reservoir Dogs funny and a violent breathtaking classic. They are a masterpiece. Kill Bill Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs is the Best Tarantino films. Death Proof is too old and has to be more modern like Kill Bill. Jackie Brown is modern but less thrilling story. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Kill bill has better plots. :) They are the coolest. - Tarantino needs to reassess what his fans (I'm not particularly one of them) want in my opinion. Kill Bill was gimmicky enough and now the rebirth of two characters as avenging twins? Posted on Nov 15 2006 13:47
