'Scary Mary' trailer
It's the 'bloody' brilliant 'Mary Poppins' trailer spoof!
Dec 5 2006
Regular visitors to The TOMB will know my enthusiasm for the spoof trailers that regularly appear on YouTube, editing, twisting, corrupting and perverting well-known films to within an inch of their lives.
'The Shining' short is still my favourite example of the genre thus far, but new trailer 'Scary Mary' is suddenly running it very close, especially as the film it tackles is family favourite 'Mary Poppins'.
Turning the Julie Andrews smug-fest into a sinister horror flick is a master stroke, so much so that the trailer demands to be turned into a full-length feature NOW!
