The official website for eagerly anticipated family flick 'The Golden Compass' has launched today, a year to the day before the film's release.
Based on the first book in Philip Pullman's bestselling 'His Dark Materials' trilogy, the film follows the story of Lyra, whose efforts to save her missing friend take her on a fantastic journey to far off lands and mysterious worlds.
The site features brand new images from the film, featuring Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and newcomer Dakota Blue Richards, as well as details of The Alethiometer (which allows Lyra to decipher truths) and some striking concept art.
