Mirren receives a right royal invite
The makers of 'The Queen' have been asked to lunch at Buckingham Palace.

It's been a good week for the makers of 'The Queen'. Not only has their film been nominated for a slew of Golden Globes and seven London Film Critics Circle awards, but they've also been summoned to Buckingham Palace by the Queen's private secretary, Robin Janvrin.
Of course, that could be because Liz hates the film and wants to throw them all in the tower, but at present, the official line is that director Stephen Frears, writer Peter Morgan, producer Andy Harries and star Helen Mirren have all been invited to lunch.
However, should Frears, Morgan, Harries and Mirren all fail to show up at next year's BAFTAs and Oscars, I think we'll know where to start looking.
