'Rocky Balboa' competition

Win tickets to the premiere plus boxing and PSP goodies.

Dec 18 2006

For most men of my age, the opening few bars of Bill Conti's 'Rocky fanfare' will have butterflies welling up in our stomachs, 'Gonna Fly Now' will have us legging it up the nearest set of stairs and 'Eye of the Tiger' will have us punching the air like we've just won the heavyweight title.

Gathering your mates together and watching Rocky I through IV (we'll ignore V) was a rite of passage for my generation, and that's why I'm stupidly excited about the release of 'Rocky Balboa' in UK cinemas on January 19. The sixth, and we're promised last, entry in the Balboa canon has been getting rave reviews in the States, and the early word over here is that the hype is warranted.

I'm therefore proud to announce the launch of our very special Rocky competition, in which you can win tickets to the UK premiere on January 16, a PSP, a 'Rocky Balboa' PSP game and a Rocky punch bag and boxing gloves. To be in with a chance of winning this spectacular prize, simply head to the competition page and answer the Rocky-related question. Good luck!
