Nitin Sawhney presents 'Pather Panchali'
The DJ/musician will present the film as part of Time Out and the Curzon Soho's My Favourite Film series.

The latest My Favourite Film event has been announced, with Nitin Sawhney presenting a very special screening of the brilliant 'Pather Panchali' at the Curzon Soho cinema.
The incomparable songwriter, producer, DJ and cultural pioneer will introduce the critically acclaimed first part of Satyajit Ray's ground-breaking 'Apu Trilogy' at 1pm on Sunday, January 28.
A detailed account of life in a Bengal village as seen through the eyes of young Apu, it was one of the first Indian films to find success in the West when it was released in 1955, and Time Out called it 'a hymn to curiosity, courage and conscience', and a 'masterpiece'.
