Pixar sends 'WALL-E' into space
News of the studio's next project leaks through a letter to shareholders.
Jan 19 2007
Ever-secretive animation studio Pixar has announced a titbit of information about its forthcoming feature 'WALL-E'.
The film, to be directed by 'Finding Nemo' helmer Andrew Stanton, will apparently revolve around a young robot looking for a home in outer space.
And how did The TOMB find out about this detail? Press release? Press conference? Exclusive interview? No – in fact the details leaked through CEO Robert Iger's letter to shareholders concerning the company's 2006 annual report.
'WALL-E' will be released on June 27, 2008, and we'll keep an eye on Iger's future correspondence for more news on the project.
