Cruise and Stiller are 'Hardy Men'
Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller will star in this update of the classic children's novels for director Shawn Levy.
Feb 13 2007
Hollywood heavyweights Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller are to team up for a big screen version of the Hardy Boys adventures entitled 'Hardy Men'.
Shawn Levy, who is hotter than the sun following the huge success of 'Night at the Museum', is attached to direct the flick, which will be loosely based on the hugely popular series of books published between 1927 and 1979.
The central conceit of the film is that the teen sleuths are all grown-up and no longer talking to each other, with a new mystery forcing them to overcome their differences and work together again.
The boys are hoping for a 2008 shoot, and if this past collaboration is anything to go by, 'Hardy Men' should be a blast.
