Neil Jordan opens 'Heart-Shaped Box'
The 'Breakfast on Pluto' helmer will direct an adaptation of Joe Hill's bestseller.

Neil Jordan is to write and direct an adaptation of bestselling horror novel 'Heart-Shaped Box' for Warner Bros.
Published in February, the book focuses on an ageing rock star whose obsession with the macabre leads him to buy a supposedly haunted suit online. But when the mysterious suit arrives, said spook starts to destroy his life.
The announcement of the horror mystery movie comes hot on the heels of another mystery announcement – that of the author's true identity. After the book hit stands, write Joe Hill revealed that he was using a pen name and was really the son of horror maestro Stephen King – a revelation that unsurprisingly did nothing to harm the sales of his book.
'Heart-Shaped Box' will start production once Jordan has finished working on the script.
