'Anna Nicole' movie in the works

Does anybody want to see this? A film of the life of recently deceased TV star Anna Nicole Smith is planned.

Apr 11 2007

They don't waste much time these movie execs – it's been just over two months since model, actress and reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith died, but the film of her life is already being rushed into production.

Dancer and singer Willa Ford will star in 'Anna Nicole', a film that focuses on Smith's life from her youth as a Playboy centrefold and Guess model, her marriage to billionaire oil tycoon J Howard Marshall II, the death of her son last September and her own tragic demise in February.

The film will also doubtless cover the recent ugly courtroom battle for the custody of Anna Nicole's baby Dannielynn, which was settled yesterday when DNA tests revealed that Smith's former boyfriend Larry Birkhead is the father.

Sounds like tawdry tabloid stuff to us, so if we can help it this will be the last time Time Out covers the project on the site.
