Grindhouse comes to town

Asian classics 'One Armed Executioner' and 'They Call Her Cleopatra Wong' will be playing in town next week.

With Quentin Tarantino's new cut of 'Death Proof' splitting critics and audiences alike in Cannes, 'Grindhouse' fans can get a look at two films that inspired the genre in London next week.

Tiger Beer are presenting a special double bill of classic exploitation flicks at the SE One club next Thursday (October 31) in the shape of 'One Armed Executioner' and 'They Call Her Cleopatra Wong'.

The former is the dramatic story of an Interpol agent thirsty for revenge against the gang who rather thoughtlessly killed his family and cut off his arm, and the latter concerns another Interpol agent who uncovers a counterfeiting ring in a nunnery (as you do).

The films will be accompanied by introductions, trailers, art installations, Asian food and Tiger beer.
