Lohan and Dawson are 'Poor Things'
UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan may not appear in 'Poor Things' following her latest spell in rehab.
May 30 2007
Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested at the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence, has nevertheless signed up to star in a new comedy called 'Poor Things'.
The actress has had three car accidents in the last two years and only recently came out of rehab, although the filmmakers say that this latest incident will not affect production, which is set to start on Wednesday.
'Poor Things' revolves around a gang of criminal grandmothers, and Trent Haaga's script is based on a recent spate of crimes recently perpetrated by America's elderly.
Rosario Dawson and Channing Tatum are also set to star, with Ash Baron Cohen directing.
UPDATE: Following her arrest, Lindsay Lohan checked into rehab, throwing her participation in the project into question. The producers are trying to change their schedules around in the hope that this can be avoided however.
