Innovation awards return
Win a chance to attend a course at the National Film and Television School.
Jun 1 2007
Budding filmmakers should take note that The 212 Innovation Awards will again be offering one aspiring young director the opportunity to attend a short course at the National Film and Television School and shadow a major director on their latest project.
Last year's winner Emma Grace shadowed Iain Softley on the set of the forthcoming 'Inkheart' and
will be taking a directing course at the NFTS this summer as well as
working on location on a major new UK production in August.
Sponsored by Carolina Herrera New York, the simple brief is to make an innovative short film which will then by judged by an expert jury that includes Nik Powell, the internationally renowned producer of 'The Crying Game' and 'Fever Pitch' and head of the National Film and Television School.
Entries should be around five minutes (although shorter and longer work will also be considered) and films should be submitted on DVD or VHS no later that October 15, 2007. For full details and entry forms, head to the official website www.carolinaherrera.com/212awards.
