Hot Fuzztival hits town

Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will host a very special day of film in London on Sunday.

To celebrate the release of 'Hot Fuzz' on DVD on Monday, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are hosting a very special programme of films at the Prince Charles Cinema on Sunday (June 10).

Their 'Hot Fuzztival' will consist of a screening of 'Hard-Boiled' at 11am, 'The Last Boy Scout' at 1.45pm and 'Point Break' at 4.30pm. There will then be a very special presentation of the film that all three inspired – 'Hot Fuzz' – at 8pm with Messers Wright, Pegg and Frost providing a live commentary.

And don't take my word for it – here's what Edgar had to say on the subject: 'Hey muddy funsters. Join me at the Prince Charles Cinema on June the 10th for a marathon of hot cop action. Not only will we screen three of our favourite actions films, but you will get to see a totally unique live commentary from myself, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, as well as other special guests from our Bad Bobby opus 'Hot Fuzz'. And who can argue with the triple whammy of John Woo's classic 'Hard-Boiled', the bruising, hilarious 'Last Boy Scout' and the palpable homoerotic tension of 'Point Break'. I will be your host for the day, will join you in watching the marathon of bad-assery and will be flinging a few goodies and surprises your way.'

There will be 300 tickets available at the door on the day, so get there early to avoid disappointment. And in addition to the screening, Edgar and Nick will be at HMV Oxford Street from 1pm on Monday (June 11) signing copies of the DVD.
