'Slither' star Elizabeth Banks has been cast in DreamWorks' forthcoming remake of Korean horror hit 'A Tale of Two Sisters'.

Kim Ji-Woon's 2003 original was based on an ancient Korean legend and revolves around two teenage girls tormented by their cruel stepmother and haunted by a ghostly spirit.

Banks will play the wicked stepmother, while in a dream world the Olsen twins would be cast as the two troubled teens who endure all manner of mental and physical horrors.

'A Tale of Two Sisters' will shoot in Louisiana in July with brothers Thomas and Charles Guard directing.
