Vote For The BAFTAs

Pick your favourite from the top ten grossing films of last year, and you could be in with a chance of winning tickets to the BAFTAs.

Jan 13 2005

The Orange British Academy Film Awards nominations for 2005 are announced on Monday, but Time Out readers are being offered the opportunity have their say regarding the 'Film of the Year' right now.

Not only that, but in voting for your favourite film, you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to the awards themselves or a state of the art filmmaking kit.

The ten nominations for 'Film of the Year' are as follows:

'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason'
'The Day After Tomorrow'
'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'
'The Incredibles'
'I, Robot'
'Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed'
'Shark Tale'
'Shrek 2'
'Spider-Man 2'
'Troy'

And yes, we know its not the best choice of movies, but as the ten nominations are based on the top ten grossing films from last year, we, the British public, only have ourselves to blame.

So if you want your vote to count (and this is the only opportunity to actually do so) then get over to www.orange.co.uk/entertainment/film/bafta, get voting, and come February 12, you and a friend could hitting the BAFTA red carpet with the cream of the British entertainment industry.
