'The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy' Hits Net
And we get our first chance to see what Arthur, Ford, Zaphod, Trillian and even the guide look like in all their celluloid glory.
Feb 16 2005
The trailer for 'The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy' has hit the net, and it's looking like the kind of adaptation that will please die hard aficionados and newcomers alike.
Giving us a first look at Martin Freeman as Arthur Dent, Mos Def as Ford Prefect, Sam Rockwell as Zaphod Beeblebrox and Zooey Deschanel as Trillian, the cast appear to be taking to their roles like proverbial ducks to water.
And with glimpses of Humma Kavula, the destruction of earth, the guide itself, and all manner of potentially gut-busting gags, it looks like things are shaping up very nicely on this potential summer blockbuster.
Whether or not director Garth Jennings has truly nailed Adams' somewhat bonkers story remains to be seen however, but for now, to check out the trailer, click here.
