Win tickets to 'Tarnation' screening

The film won the Sutherland Trophy at the 2004 LFF, and we've got 200 tickets to give away to a special screening before it goes on general release.

Apr  1 2005

Made for $218 on iMovie software, Jonathan Caouette's 'Tarnation' is a spellbinding documentary self-portrait that reimagines the whole idea of what a documentary can be.

The film chronicles Caouette's upbringing in a dysfunctional Texas family, and the unexpected relationship that develops with his mentally ill mother.

The film was awarded the 2004 Sutherland Trophy at the London Film Festival, and it also played at both the Sundance and Cannes film festivals.

'Tarnation' opens on April 22, but thanks to Optimum, we have 200 tickets for a preview on Monday April 18 at 6.30pm at the UGC Haymarket.

Send a first class SAE, marked 'Tarnation' to Time Out Online, 251 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7AB by April 12.

The first 100 readers picked out of the hat will each receive a pair of tickets.

Terms and conditions.
