Jacob Aaron Estes' film has caused a stir wherever it has played, and Time Out is offering you the chance to see it before it goes on general release.

Set in a small Oregon town, 'Mean Creek' is a powerful story about the balance between friendship and responsibility.
The film starts out with a ragtag group of teenagers making plans for a playful payback on a local troublemaker. However, once the plan is set in action, some of them start to have second thoughts, and 'Mean Creek' turns into a powerful allegorical tale that probes the difficult moral dilemmas we all face.
'Mean Creek', directed by Jacob Aaron Estes, is released on April 29.
Tartan Films and UGC Cinemas have arranged a special screening on Tuesday April 26 at 6.30pm at the UGC Haymarket.
