'Three Bad Men' want Simon Pegg
The 'Spaced' star has been cast opposite Woody Harrelson and Brendan Fraser in the forthcoming film.
Apr 7 2005
Having spent the last few months cameoing in the likes of 'The League of Gentlemen Apocalypse' and George Romero's 'Land of the Dead' it seems that Simon Pegg has finally signed on to star in a new movie.
The star (and co-writer) of 'Shaun of the Dead' has been cast alongside Woody Harrelson and Brendan Fraser in the comedy-thriller 'Three Bad Men'.
Directed by Paul Weiland ('City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold') and scripted by Peter Straughan, the film tells the tale of three hit men who relocate to the suburbs in an effort to go straight.
However, while it's good news to hear that the 'Spaced' star will be back on our screens in the near future, we only hope that the 'Three Bad Men' production doesn't delay 'Shaun of the Dead' follow-up 'Hot Fuzz', the 'city cop gone rural' script that Pegg and his partner in crime Edgar Wright are working on at the moment.
