Three new 'Star Wars' trailers released

The spectacular new 'Episode III' TV ads are entitled 'Jedi Action 1', 'Jedi Action 2' and 'Unite'.

Apr 19 2005

With the release of 'Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith' exactly one month away, those nice people at Lucasfilm have added three TV ads to their growing slate of trailers.

Simply click on the titles below to be transported to starwars.com to see them.

The first, Jedi Action 1, starts out with Yoda announcing 'Destroy the Sith we must' before laying down some seriously righteous lightsabre justice as only a wee muppet can. Elsewhere this 'kid-friendly' spot features a whole host of shots we've seen before, although we did particularly like the one of a wookie jumping off a spacecraft.

The second, Jedi Action 2, includes Mace Windu sensing a plot to destroy the Jedi (Hello! Didn't he see the other five films?) as well as Darth Sidious cackling like a baddie from a kids cartoon.

Finally there's Unite, which features more fun and frolics from the gang, with Obi-Wan having a bad feeling about this (déjà vu anyone?), General Grievous wanting to 'crush them' and yet another shot of darstadly Darth Anakin.

All in all a fine exercise in appetite-whetting from George and the boys, now if only May 19 would hurry up and get here sooner.
