Trailer for the funniest film of the year hits the net
Hold on to your sides - they might just split - as Time Out gives you a glimpse at 'The Aristocrats'.
Jul 6 2005
The trailer for 2005's best comedy has hit the net.
'The Aristocrats', much like some of Martin Lawrence's recent films, is a one-joke movie.
The joke here is a true classic however – an extremely dirty tale that comedians have been telling other comedians since the beginning of time (or the vaudeville era at least).
Directed by Paul Provenza, the documentary revolves around some 100 comedians telling said gag, the punch line of which is 'The Aristocrats'.
And with the likes Billy Connolly, Whoopi Goldberg, Eric Idle, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, Harry Shearer, Robin Williams and Eddie Izzard doing their own renditions of the filthy story, it may well be the most foul-mouthed mainstream movie ever made.
A huge hit at Sundance (read Time Out's early opinion here), a UK release date is yet to be locked in, but expect it to hit screens before the end of the year.
