Nicole Kidman to join the 'Headhunters'
The Australian actress will produce and star in an adaptation of the Jules Bass bestseller.
Sep 26 2005
Nicole Kidman is to star in and produce an adaptation of Jules Bass' bestselling novel 'Headhunters'.
A comedy caper, the book revolves around four middle-aged New Jersey women who head to Monte Carlo and pose as wealthy heiresses in an effort to ensnare four wealthy bachelors.
All does not go according to plan however, when the good looking 'playboys' they fall in love with turn out to be imposters themselves.
The book will be adapted by Jez and John Henry Butterworth, with production due to start early next year.
Before then, Kidman will be seen in the Diane Arbus biopic 'Fur', which hits UK screens next summer.
