Kate Winslet to 'Holiday' with Cameron Diaz

The popular pair will star in a romantic comedy for writer-director Nancy Meyers.

Sep 29 2005

Kate Winslet is in negotiations to star opposite Cameron Diaz in a new romantic comedy called 'Holiday'.

The film, which will be written and directed by Nancy Meyers ('Something's Gotta Give', 'What Women Want'), revolves around the blossoming friendship between an American woman and a British villager as they share their relationship problems.

Little else is known about the project at present, although filming is due to start in Europe and America early next year.

Before then, Diaz can be seen in Curtis Hanson's tear jerker 'In Her Shoes', while Winslet is starring in political drama 'All the King's Men'.
