Mike Myers to play rock 'n' roll's ultimate hellraiser
The 'Austin Powers' star will play Keith Moon in a film about the legendary drummer.

Following a brief break from the big-screen, Mike Myers is returning to star as The Who's drummer Keith Moon in a forthcoming biopic.
Funnyman Myers ('Wayne's World', 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery') has long wanted to make a movie about the hellraiser's life, and it now looks like the project will go into production soon.
Revolving around the rock 'n' roller's wild antics both onstage and off, the currently untitled film will feature many a wrecked drum-set and trashed hotel room, and will culminate with Moon's death of a drug overdose in 1978.
Under the banner of Spitfire Productions, the film will be produced by Bill Gerber, Nigel Sinclair and the band's vocalist, Roger Daltrey.
It will be the second film about The Who set to hit screens next year, with documentary 'My Generation: Who's Still Who' also currently in production. To read about that project, click here.
