Spielberg to remake a classic?
The legendary director also talks about the fourth 'Indiana Jones' and 'Jurassic Park' films.
Nov 11 2005
Steven Spielberg spoke at the University of Southern California last night, and let several details slip about his future plans.
First up, it seems that while he is still producing and working with the writers on the fourth instalment of the 'Jurassic Park' films, there is still little movement on 'Indiana Jones 4'.
George Lucas is apparently still working on the script with Jeff Nathanson, and plans to release the film in 3-D simultaneously, but apart from that Spielberg said he knew little else.
The 'War of the Worlds' helmer also said he would consider remaking his second feature, 'The Sugarland Express', while he and Tom Hanks are currently in talks to make a 'Band of Brothers'-style mini-series about the battles that raged on the Pacific Ocean during World War II.
Steven Spielberg's 'Munich' is released on January 27.
